This policy describes, in general terms, how Eastside Speedshop LLC (“Eastside Speedshop,” “we,” “us”) may handle information submitted through this website. It is intended as a general description of our practices rather than a guarantee about any particular piece of information, and our practices may change over time.

The appointment request form on this site may ask for information such as:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• Details about your vehicle, such as year, make, model and type
• The service you are interested in and any preferred timing
• Anything else you choose to include in the free-text field

Please do not send payment card numbers, bank details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through this form. It is not intended for that purpose.

We may also receive information you provide when you call, email, or visit the shop.

2. Information that may be collected automatically

The website does not currently use cookies, browser storage, advertising pixels, or an analytics package, and does not currently track visitors across other websites. This may change if the site adds new functionality in future, in which case this page would be updated.

Some information may be recorded automatically for security and reliability purposes, such as a one-way hashed version of an IP address used to limit repeated automated submissions, and standard server logs kept by our web host. Records of this kind are generally short-lived.

3. Third-party content on this site

Some elements of this site, such as web fonts and an embedded map, may be loaded from third-party providers. Where that happens, those providers may receive your IP address and basic browser information, and may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies rather than ours.

Links to social media or review platforms are ordinary links. We do not share information with those platforms unless you choose to visit them.

If you provide a phone number, you are asking us to contact you about your enquiry, and we may contact you by phone or text message about your appointment, an estimate, or work on your vehicle. Message and data rates may apply.

Any promotional messaging, if offered in future, would be separate and optional, and would include a means of opting out.

Information is generally retained for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above, or for as long as required or permitted by applicable law. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record.

We take reasonable measures intended to protect information submitted through this site, including serving the site over an encrypted connection and limiting access to business records. No website or business can guarantee complete security, and information is provided at your own risk.

This site is intended for adults arranging vehicle service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.
